Our Prices Explained.

As our vehicles are sourced abroad, we have to purchase them in foreign currencies. We therefore forward buy our currency to secure the best rates; this enables us to guarantee our selling prices in advance.

THE PRICE WE ADVERTISE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY.
THE ONLY EXTRA COSTS ARE TO PUT THE VEHICLE "ON THE ROAD" AND ANY ACCESSORIES YOU CHOOSE TO FIT.

Our "On the Road" charges are as follows: -

Transport from our Suppliers, to the ports, to us in Leicestershire.
6 Months Road fund Licence
First Registration Fees (Currently £50)
Number Plates
£10 worth of fuel
Final Preparation and Cleaning

Total cost £465 Incl.

Bob Gerard Ltd works directly as your intermediary agent, to source your vehicle from European Dealers at the best possible price.

Placing an Order.

Our ordering procedure is a very straight forward process, all vehicles advertised are available for delivery in 10-28 days collected at our Leicester based showroom. We work with the main Franchise Dealers in Europe, from placement of order with them, securing the vehicle and supplying your details to them as ‘first owner’. Delivery can take longer if a certain Make/Colour combination is not in stock with suppliers. We ask for a small (refundable) deposit of £450 to secure the vehicle of your choice, we purposely ask for this on a credit card for your peace of mind.
The balance of the payment is settled on handover of the vehicle and can be paid by the following methods: -
Direct Debit Card, Bankers Draft or Electronic Transfer. We will also accept a Personal or Building society cheque in advance for clearance. If you opt for our delivery service we ask that Card Payments or Electronic transfer takes place the day before delivery.
All documentation, customs, VAT and registration is handled by us, so all you have to provide (apart from the money to buy the car) is an insurance cover note and personal identification required for the registration process and the proof of ID required for our dealers abroad for us to act as your intermediary.
The vehicle will at this point be registered to you as the first keeper and not to a third party or motor company.
The vehicle can then be collected from our showrooms at Great Glen in Leicestershire or delivered to your door (for a small fee) by our own driver. Michael.
